Linocutting

I'm into linocutting at the moment, and the above is still ' work in progress. 

I've used 3 boards, including the 'base' red colour.

(There are lots of very helpful tuitions on You Tube.)

 

Although these two are rather faded colours, I rather like them and will do a bit more work .......

  

 

A proper printing press gives you a wonderfully sharp image - just using a baren or a spoon is ok - but not really half as good, and you need quite a bit of pressure.  (Printing presses are pretty expensive :( )

 

I made this card last Christmas - scanning, Photoshopping and printing directly on to the actual card from my printer

- the original design was from a linocut.
