Oxford Street looks very Christmassy Shirley. It gives it a wonderful atmosphere when it is all lit up like that. Hope you didn't spend too much...haha.
Absolutely love the baby cardis too. Gorgeous colours. I bet she looks a real treat wearing them.
Thanks Cathy - the lit up Oxford St did look pretty - and was really busy. We'd been for a mooch down Marylebone High Street ......... love it down there - lovely cafes too!
Sue the West End JL is definitely the best place for yarn shopping - everywhere else convenient seems to have disappeared. Brent Cross isn't bad, but JL have reduced the size of their yarns and Fenwicks dont sell yarn at all.
Dolores - perhaps you could send me some pics? Our son and his partner are now back in London (from Toronto) and I'm sure they would love to see some photos.
Hi - were you in Oxford Street today, Jane and I were in Selfridges this morning then JL for yarn shopping!

ReplyDeleteI must ask my daughter if she has seen the Christmas decorations and lights. Toronto is starting to get decorated too - especially downtown.
