I think I've got the gist of how they're made! I'm now going to have a sock rest.

http://www.viv.dk/Patterns/Patterns.htm I used a Vivian Hoxbro free scarf pattern for the blue scarf. I added some crochet'd flowers on the ends. Vivian Hoxbro has some great free patterns on her website.
The small grey bag is crochet'd & has small beads added. (I dont remember if this was from someone else's pattern! - same with 'frilly' scarf!)
