Chelsea Flower Show 2014

unfortunately the colours didn't come out so well in my photo, but they were beautiful.  

This won the 1st Prize in the Young Flower Arrangers competition

Chelsea Flower Show (RHS) 2014 has been wonderful.  

I didn't manage to go, but have been watching the wonderful BBC coverage on tv.  

(My husband thinks all I do is watch gardening and cookery! ... cant think why! :)  )

There are so many beautiful gardens - have a look ........

These were edited in Photoshop from a photo of a beautiful Alan Titchmarsh rose.  

... the lower pic I used the 'Liquify' filter and the upper pic has been cropped and re-collaged.  

I love the colours, and the sort-of random control you can achieve, although looking at these too long, does makes your eyes go a bit fuzzy!

Photoshop efforts -

I usually photoshop pics. with the idea of using them as another composition for either painting or embroidery/textile, stitching, maybe beadwork, etc. More often than not, I just end up liking the Photoshopped pictures, and dont do much with them ...... but it is fun making them, as you dont always know quite what the result is going to be.

Having a play - I cant say I'm exactly sure what I did ! but the effects are interesting. I use Photoshop and Illustrator. (I should keep notes shouldn't I?!)
