Monty Don

Although we know Monty Don as a great gardener on BBC's Gardeners' World -  in the 1980s he and his wife designed and made beautiful costume jewellery -  these are just a few of their gorgeous pieces.

Jewellery

The 'Tutti Frutti' Necklace & Bracelet were made for Glora Swanson
Having read, this morning, about Wallis Simpson (The Duchess of Windsor) - a collection of her jewellery is coming up for sale at Sothebys - (expected to make over £4 million!) - I did a reccie on the internet, and found these lovely pieces - not all of them belonged to the Duchess but they were mostly made by Cartier or Van Cleef & Arpels.

Grainne Morton - Jewellery Designer

I uploaded this lovely brooch a few posts ago, and couldn't find out anything about the designer. "Anonymous" very kindly left me a comment with Grainne's details - here are some more of her original pieces.
